Holotype:— AUSTRIA. Carinthia: Villach, bei Müll[n]ern in Auenwäldern, 500 m, 1 August 1938, J. Bornmüller (B barcode B 10 0420867!).—Current name: Hieracium apricorum subsp. subpallescens (Beck 1893: 1295) Gottschlich (2007: 268) .
Remarks: —Label with handwritten determination and diagnosis by Zahn. The plants are uncharacteristic due to their secondary anthesis in August, which may have caused the microcephalic appearance. This modification requires no taxonomic recognition.
