Acrotrichis africana Johnson 1969

The commonest and most widespread of the African Acrotrichis species recorded from eight countries including Kenya and Uganda (Johnson 1969). For a discussion about the presence or absence of males see Johnson 1984. Distinguished by the form of the spermatheca (Fig. 14B).
