DISTRIBUTION: Okinawa Isl. (Ryukyu Isis.); Taiwan; Hainan, Fukien, and Yunnan (China); Indochina to Sumatra and Java; Flores (Lesser Sunda Isis.).

COMMENT: M. kakhyensis is unidentifiable, but was applied erroneously to specimens of caroli; see Marshall, 1977, in Lekagul and McNeely, p. 434.

ISIS NUMBER: 5301410011044014001 as M. kakhyensis .
