DISTRIBUTION: N. and C. Queensland and Hinchinbrook Isl. (Australia); New Guinea; Murray Isl. (Torres Strait).

COMMENT: Baverstock et al., 1980, Aust. J. Zool., 28:553, 568, presented evidence that lutillus in Australia is probably conspecific with burtoni . May prove to be a subspecies of burtoni (CHSW) .
