DISTRIBUTION: New Guinea; D'Entrecasteaux Isis.

COMMENT: Includes fergussoniensis and dryas; mollipilosus has been applied to loriae but the name is now considered a junior synonym of macrourus; see Dennis and Menzies, 1979, J. Zool. Lond., 189:315-332.
