DISTRIBUTION: Pilliga Scrub (New South Wales, Australia).

COMMENT: Further study of the relationships of pilligaensis, delicatulus, novaehollandiae, and hermannsburgensis is needed; see Fox and Briscoe, 1980, Aust. Mammal., 3(2):124.
