TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, Western Australia, Moore River .

DISTRIBUTION: S. W. Western Australia; Bernier Isl. (Western Australia).

COMMENT: Ride, 1970:246, included glaucus and apodemoides in this species but Baverstock et al., 1977, Aust. J. Biol. Sci., 30:471-485, considered apodemoides a distinct species, and Fox and Briscoe, 1980, Aust. Mammal., 3(2):112, 121, considered glaucus distinct; both are followed here.
