Holotype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Leidongping / 83.6”; (2) handwritten on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegohylemyia / cylindrophalla / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegohylemyia / cylindrophalla / (Deng) ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on two slides pinned with the specimen.

Additional notes: Holotype male collected at Jinding of Mount Emei; labels of the Holotype pinned by Anxiao Deng, but the date of collection on the label (83.6) do not match with the date in the original publication (81.6).
