Holotype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Sichuan Wolong / 2400m / Chinese Academy of Sciences ”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ 1986.V.4 / collector Shensheng Zheng ”; (3) handwritten on white label: “ Egle gracilior ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Egle / gracilior / Zheng et Fan ”.

Preservation: specimen mouldy; pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on paper triangle; wings mounted on paper triangle pinned with specimen.
