Pogonolaelaps beaulieui Nemati & Gwiazdowicz, 2016: 35 .

Nemati & Gwiazdowicz (2016) described this species in the genus Pogonolaelaps, and we agree with that placement. It is not consistent with the concept of Laelaspisella as described by Marais & Loots (1969), because the dorsal cheliceral seta is present (absent in Laelaspisella), seta pd3 is present on genu I (absent in Laelaspisella), and the palp tarsal claw is 3-tined (2-tined in Laelaspisella).
